Aurora earned her LL.B from the University of Ottawa, USA in May 1990 and her Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Dalhousie University in May 1975.
Aurora has been practicing immigration law since 1994. She assists individuals and multi-national corporations with a wide range of applications, including permanent residence (Express Entry, provincial nominee programs), Labor Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs), intra-company transferee work permits, NAFTA work permits, study permits, pre-removal risk assessments, judicial reviews and matters before the Immigration Appeal Division.
Previously, Aurora worked in the Toronto office of a leading national law firm in corporate, labor and employment law and for one of the most respected boutique employment and human rights law firms in New York.
Aurora is a member of the Immigration Section of the American Bar Association and the New York Bar Association. She is a committee member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Comité des langues officielles and is bilingual in French and English.
Aurora is a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of New York.
