UK Tier1 Graduate Entrepreneur visa is awarded to graduates of UK and foreign universities with entrepreneurial or research and development projects in the UK. This visa is issued for a period of 12 to 24 months.

General information

This type of visa was discontinued in mid-2019. You can no longer apply for this type of visa. UK Visa Sponsorship Jobs Agency will soon open a new service for a similar visa : UK Start-Up visa.
You can still apply for a Dependent visa of a Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur.

UK Visa Sponsorship Jobs Agency is not involved in providing COS (Certificate of Sponsorship) and finding an employer. Our service are limited of a visa agency, you need to have already such invitation before reaching us for our visa service. If you do not have a company listed in the official Sponsors Licensed in the UK that has already invited you, UK Visa Sponsorship Jobs Agency is not here to help you find a job position in the UK.

This type of visa is needed for British and Foreign Universities graduates, who have creative business ideas to realize. And these people would like to try themselves as Entrepreneurs in the UK.

If you are a foreign graduate, you must meet the requirements of the Department of International Trade (DIT) to apply for a Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur).

The number of granted visas is limited to 2000 per year:

• 1900 visas for graduates of UK Higher Education Institutions,
• 100 visas for graduates from the Department of International Trade (DIT).

Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) is issued for the period of 12 months. After that applicant can switch into Tier 1 Entrepreneur, or to extend it for 12 more months.

UK Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) visa is one of the points-based system visas. You have to collect a certain amount of points to obtain this visa. You can read more about the points-based system here.

Regardless of whether you use our service or apply yourself, you will need to pay a visa fee to the UK immigration services. The cost is stated in GBP on the website https://www.gov.uk.

The visa fee cost is not included in our service cost.
Depending on the desired length of your visa, you will need to pay for the associated visa fees cost on gov.uk.

UK Visa Sponsorship Jobs Agency is not paying for the visa fees directly, we will assist you in this process.

In the case of refusal, or if the passport is withdrawn before the decision is made, the visa fee can’t be refunded.

You will have to pay for IHS insurance (Immigration Health Surcharge) on the official web-site of the Immigration Service after your visa application is completed.

Required documents and approved clinics for Tuberculosis test

Required documents

• • Passport. It must be valid for the whole of your stay in the UK.
  • Printed visa application from https://www.gov.uk.
  • Endorsement letter from a UK University or the Department of International Trade (DIT).
  • Your CoS (Certificate of Sponsorship).
  • Diploma.
  • Tuberculosis test.
  • English Language Test to confirm that your level is B1 and upper (if you don’t have a UK University degree). You can pass the test just in certified centres.
  • Bank statement with the history of transactions showing that the needed amount of money (945£ GBP if you apply from within the UK, and 1890£ GBP from outside the UK) is on the account for the period of at least 90 calendar days on the date when your visa application is completed.
  • Copy of your marriage certificate and your children birth certificates .
  • Previous passport.
